Connect Egnyte to Anzenna
Connect your Egnyte tenant to Anzenna to monitor file sharing activity and user changes. Anzenna uses OAuth to obtain a refresh token scoped to Egnyte.audit and Egnyte.user — read access to the audit stream and the user directory.
Prerequisites
Egnyte administrator account on your tenant
Your Egnyte tenant URL in the form
https://{subdomain}.egnyte.com- Access to the Anzenna platform
Step-by-Step Instructions
Part 1: Start in Anzenna
Sign in to app.anzenna.ai.
Go to Settings > Integrations and find Egnyte.
Click the toggle next to Egnyte to begin the connection.
Part 2: Enter Your Egnyte Tenant URL
When prompted, enter your full Egnyte tenant URL — for example,
https://acme.egnyte.com. The subdomain is the value Anzenna uses as the tenant identifier.Click Continue. Anzenna will redirect you to Egnyte to authorize the integration.
The URL must match https://{subdomain}.egnyte.com exactly. Custom domains and trailing paths are not supported by the enrollment flow.
Part 3: Authorize Anzenna in Egnyte
If prompted, sign in to Egnyte as an administrator on the tenant you are connecting.
Review the requested scopes. Anzenna requests two scopes:
Egnyte.audit — read access to the audit event stream (file sharing activity).
Egnyte.user — read access to the user directory.
Click Allow Access to authorize Anzenna.
Part 4: Verify the Connection
After authorizing, Egnyte redirects you back to Anzenna.
Return to the Integrations page in Anzenna.
Confirm that Egnyte shows as Connected and that your subdomain appears as the connected tenant.
Egnyte is now connected to Anzenna. Anzenna will begin ingesting audit events and user data from your Egnyte tenant.
