Connect Egnyte to Anzenna

Connect your Egnyte tenant to Anzenna to monitor file sharing activity and user changes. Anzenna uses Egnyte's OAuth flow to obtain access to the audit event stream and the user directory. During authorization, Egnyte shows you the full list of permissions the integration will receive so you can review them before granting access.

Prerequisites​

  • Egnyte administrator account on your tenant

  • Your Egnyte domain in the form {subdomain}.egnyte.com

  • Admin access to the Anzenna platform (Settings > Integrations)

Step-by-Step Instructions​

Part 1: Start in Anzenna​

  1. Sign in to app.anzenna.ai.

  2. Go to Settings > Integrations and find Egnyte (use the search box to jump straight to it).

  3. Click the toggle on the Egnyte card to begin the connection.

Part 2: Provide Your Egnyte Domain​

Toggling Egnyte on opens a new tab on Egnyte's authorization site. When prompted, enter your Egnyte domain (for example, acme.egnyte.com) and click Next.

If you aren't already signed in to Egnyte, you'll be asked to log in as an administrator on the tenant you are connecting.

Enter your domain as {subdomain}.egnyte.com. The subdomain is the value Anzenna uses as the tenant identifier.

Part 3: Authorize Anzenna in Egnyte​

Egnyte displays the list of permissions Anzenna is requesting. Review them, then click Allow Access to authorize the integration.

Part 4: Verify the Connection​

  1. After you click Allow Access, Egnyte redirects you back to Anzenna.

  2. On the Integrations page, confirm that Egnyte shows as Connected to your subdomain and that the toggle is on.

Egnyte is now connected to Anzenna. Anzenna will begin ingesting audit events and user data from your Egnyte tenant.
