Freshservice Notifications

Anzenna delivers detection notifications to Freshservice as tickets. When a detection finds new events, Anzenna opens a ticket in your Freshservice instance with the detection details and a link back to Anzenna.

Setup

1. Connect Freshservice

Before you can send notifications, connect your Freshservice instance to Anzenna. Follow the

Connect Freshservice

integration guide.

2. Enable Freshservice on a Detection

  1. Open a detection and go to its Notification Settings.

  2. Toggle Freshservice on.

  3. Select your connected Freshservice instance.

  4. Enter the requester email — a contact that exists in your Freshservice instance. Tickets are opened on behalf of this requester.

  5. Click Save.

Freshservice enabled in a detection's Notification Settings
tip

A Freshservice ticket is created when the detection's stats are next recalculated — not the moment you save the configuration — so it can take a short time to appear in Freshservice.

What Gets Created

When a notification fires, Anzenna creates a Freshservice ticket containing:

  • The detection name and new event count in the subject

  • A description with the affected users and a direct link to the detection in Anzenna

  • Priority set to Medium and Source set to Alerts, with the requester you configured

Per-Source Overrides

You can enable or disable Freshservice notifications for individual detections using

per-source overrides

. This lets you open tickets only for the detections that warrant them.
