Add Records to an Allowlist

This guide shows you how to create and manage allowlists in Anzenna. Allowlists help you filter out known safe events from your security dashboards, reducing noise and focusing on genuine threats.

Prerequisites

  • Access to Anzenna dashboard
  • Appropriate permissions to manage allowlists

Overview

Anzenna supports two types of allowlists:

  1. Dynamic (Rule-Based) – Automatically filter events based on specific criteria

  2. Manual – Add specific records individually

Method 1: Create Dynamic (Rule-Based) Allowlists

Dynamic allowlists use filters to automatically exclude events that match specific criteria.

Steps

  1. Navigate to an events dashboard where you want to create the allowlist

  2. Click Allowlists in the top right

  1. Click Create New

  1. Select filters and values to target specific events

  1. Name the allowlist and click Save

Method 2: Add Records Manually

Use manual allowlists when you want to exclude specific individual records.

Steps

  1. Navigate to your events dashboard

  2. Select one or more rows from the dashboard

  1. In the popup menu, click Add to Allowlist
